The central column are manufactured from ERW BS EN 10305-3 steel which can be easily mass loaded with our exclusive, specialist speaker stand mass loading material, Inert Filler. The tri satellite column format combines to provide a unique finish option and rigid speaker stand support for book shelf and small stand mount speakers.
The performance improvements are substantial, especially to the dynamic range which seems more open and free compared to conventional central, mass loaded designs. Stereo imaging and precision timing bring more excitement to your listening experience all with an accurate and controlled bass performance. The FS 102 Speaker Support Stands are a serious alternative to the usual option of speaker stand design. The satellite support columns are available in Black or White as standard with Chrome or Brushed Chrome finish optional extra. The precision laser cut, hand finished acoustic top plates and unique shaped base plates are manufactured from 4mm steel and available in 150mm x 170mm dimensions . Designed to have the minimal effect on the performance of your speakers, the 3 support column design provides a rigid, solid foundation for our customers who demand a more exciting and dynamic performance from their small book shelf speakers.
Rigidity is proven integral design feature which improves sound performance. The Custom Design philosophy of multi column supports provides superior sound quality and performance over traditional single column support design speaker stands.
Custom Design do not use Aluminium in the construction of any speaker stand designs. The natural properties of aluminium prevent speaker stands from performing to the best of their ability as mechanical feedback can be prevented, just like over mass loading. Which will result in reducing the dynamic range and the depth of bass frequency.
