Designed to isolate the speaker cabinet from the speaker stand top plate/top isolation plinth/acoustic steel isolation top plate in the most rigid position of the cabinet, which is the corners. A speaker cabinet resonates most in the centre which is Custom Design offer various dimension top plates, top isolation plinths and acoustic steel top plates to isolate the cabinet perfectly for the best performance. The Acoustic Steel isolation principle is a constrained layer dampening system which is 2 layers of steel with the patented polymer with viscoelastic property, which converts the resonance energy to heat, the performance is further enhanced by the use of the isolation pads, simple but effective.
