The 76mm ERW BS EN 10305-3 steel central column can be easily mass loaded with our Inert Filler and the 4, 50mm satellite columns combine to provide complete isolation and total rigidity for speakers. The performance improvements are substantial, especially to the dynamic range which seems more open and free compared to conventional designs. Stereo imaging and precision timing bring more excitement to your listening experience all with an accurate and controlled bass performance. The FS 205 Speaker Stands are a serious alternative to the more usual option of speaker stand design.
The satellite support columns are available in Black as standard with Chrome and Brushed Chrome finish optional extra. The hand made and hand finished 4mm acoustic steel top plates are unique shape to the FS 205 and FS 206 ranges,
The aesthetically pleasing base plates are manufactured from precision laser cut 5mm steel and designed to have the minimal appearance and influence on your speaker performance. The design combines complete isolation and total rigidity for a substantial foundation for customers who require the maximum performance for a rewarding, more exciting and dynamic performance.
Custom Design do not use Aluminium in the construction of any speaker stand designs. The natural properties of aluminium prevent speaker stands from performing to the best of their ability as mechanical feedback can be prevented, just like over mass loading. Which will result in reducing the dynamic range and the depth of bass frequency.
Rigidity is proven integral design feature which improves sound performance. The Custom Design philosophy of multi column supports provides superior sound quality and performance over traditional single column support design speaker stands.
