 Stand mount speakers and book shelf speakers require a speaker stand support to position the listening experience to the perfect height of our customers specific requirement. Speaker stands also need to provide a complete rigid, isolating support platform for the speaker to operate at the maximum performance possible. This can be achieved through the integrity of the speaker stand, the number of supporting columns, the engineering incorporated in to the design, the type and number of fixings, the built in specialist isolation acoustic steel, 4mm acoustic steel for resonance energy absorption and conversion or the quality and thickness of materials involved,  oiled and pickled steel for a quality and superior surface finish. 

The speaker stands designed and manufactured by Custom Design provide the perfect isolating solution for speaker cabinets. Speaker cabinets resonate, therefore the best possible isolation point would be the corners which resonate the least. That is why Custom Design provide an optional standard range of top plate dimensions and provide a custom made service for our customers to achieve the best possible listening experience and sound performance from their HiFi system.

The ERW BS EN 10305-3 76mm twin central columns can be easily mass loaded with our Inert Filler and the 4 satellite columns combine to provide a totally rigid speaker support stand. The performance improvements are substantial, like all the FS range, and the Technics SC CX700 106 Speaker Support Stand range add more detail to the dynamic range which seems spacious and open compared to conventional central, mass loaded designs. Stereo imaging and precision timing provide more excitement to your listening experience all with an accurate and more controlled bass performance. The Technics SC CX700 106 Speaker Stands range are a unique, totally rigid format speaker stand design.

The satellite support columns are available in Black as standard with Polished Chrome and Brushed Chrome finish optional extra. The laser precision cut hand finished acoustic top plates and base plates are manufactured from 4mm steel and available in 190 x 240mm standard dimensions.. They are designed to have the minimal effect on the performance of your speakers. The 6 column support design provides total integrity and a solid foundation for our customers who enjoy an exciting and dynamic performance from their speakers and equipment.

Rigidity is proven integral design feature which improves sound performance. The Custom Design philosophy  of multi column supports provides superior sound quality and performance over traditional single column support design speaker stands.

Custom Design do not use Aluminium in the construction of any speaker stand designs. The natural properties of aluminium prevent speaker stands from performing to the best of their ability as mechanical feedback can be prevented, just like over mass loading. Which will result in reducing the dynamic range and the depth of bass frequency.
