Hello Paul The ATC SCM7 302 speaker stands arrived today. All setup and delighted with the quality of the stands and the finish. With the acoustic top plate and having it a similar trapezium shape to the speaker itself gives a nice look and no doubt will benefit the sound very well. Adding the inert filler gives them a lot more substance too. Quality product all round. Thank you and no doubt I will be back to you soon for something else. All the best. Paul

The Kef R3 302 XL speaker stands were easy to assemble and fitted together very well. Quality parts. I have tried the stands with my new Kef R3 speakers and they are very stable on the stands and solid. Very pleased with the stands and hopefully will have many years of service to come. Got another two Quadraphonic iRaps for my monoblocks. These were previously on Isoacoustic Oreos due to space limitations. For the iRaps, I changed the spike and shoe feet to an upside M8 bolt with a small washer, and a bolt plastic cap as the shoe, to act as the feet. This made it all only about 3cm high like the added height with the Oreos. Quadraphonic iRaps are more expensive than the Oreos, but the sound quality is clearly better - a far cleaner crisp sound, deeper soundstage, more fluid dynamics and low details, are the most obvious benefits over Isoacoustic Oreos. Highly recommend the Quadraphonic iRap.

Use two Quadraphonic iRaps on a Naim preamp and PSU. For the preamp it really cleaned the sound and brought out new low details. For the PSU it increased the power, dynamics, control and bass detail. Upgrades with the Quadraphonic iRaps (steel and aluminium) are far better than the Isoacoustics platforms - plus they can come in all black if asked and it takes virtually any unit weight unlike the Isoacoustics variation in wood and colour for bigger weights. Crazy to think a shelf upgrades the sound so much but it's nonetheless true. I will try to fit more where i can. Highly recommend the Quadraphonic iRap

People are so quick to moan and criticize these days so I thought I would spend a minute to praise a worthy company. The stands I ordered arrived in perfect condition, superbly packed even DPD (Definite Parcel Disaster) couldn't damage them as much as they would try. Being an engineer for over 30 years I probably appreciate the accuracy involved in making these stands to look so good, anyone can make a stand with four uprights pointing to different postcodes. The finish is excellent throughout. Once filled the sound is great from a pair of B&W 607's. I work very hard for my money and there can be no better compliment than when I say I'm fully satisfied with every penny spent. I'm so glad I went with Custom Designs, I would recommend in a heartbeat and that is rare for me. Regards, Justin Hadley
