 Stand mount speakers and book shelf speakers require a speaker stand support to position the listening experience to the perfect height of our customers specific requirement. Speaker stands also need to provide a complete rigid, isolating support platform for the speaker to operate at the maximum performance possible. This can be achieved through the integrity of the speaker stand, the number of supporting columns, the engineering incorporated in to the design, the type and number of fixings, the built in specialist isolation acoustic steel, 4mm acoustic steel for resonance energy absorption and conversion or the quality and thickness of materials involved,  oiled and pickled steel for a quality and superior surface finish. 

The Dali Epicon 2 speaker stands are designed and manufactured by Custom Design to provide the perfect isolating solution for speaker cabinets. Speaker cabinets resonate most in the middle of the cabinet, therefore the best possible isolation point is the corners of the cabinet,  which resonate the least. That is why Custom Design provide a top plate to compliment the speaker cabinet, plate dimensions 200 x 320mm and provide a custom made service for our customers to achieve the best possible listening experience and sound performance from their HiFi system.

The ERW BS EN 10305-3 76mm twin central columns can be easily mass loaded with our Inert Filler and the 4 satellite columns combine to provide a totally rigid speaker support stand. The performance improvements are substantial, like all the FS range, and the Dali Epicon 2 104 Speaker Support Stand range add more detail to the dynamic range which seems spacious and open compared to conventional central, mass loaded designs. Stereo imaging and precision timing provide more excitement to your listening experience all with an accurate and more controlled bass performance. The FS 104 Speaker Stands range are a unique, totally rigid format speaker stand design.
The satellite support columns are available in Black as standard with Polished Chrome and Brushed Chrome finish optional extra. The trapezium shape, laser precision cut, hand finished acoustic top plates and base plates are manufactured from CR4 4mm steel and available in mm standard dimensions. They are designed to have the minimal effect on the performance of your speakers. The 5 column support design provides total integrity and a solid foundation for our customers who enjoy an exciting and dynamic performance from their speakers and equipment.

Custom Design do not use Aluminium in the construction of any speaker stand designs. The natural properties of aluminium prevent speaker stands from performing to the best of their ability as mechanical feedback can be prevented, just like over mass loading. Which will result in reducing the dynamic range and the depth of bass frequency.
